1. Who we are
Thursday AI is a product of The Thursday Times (The Thursday Times). These terms apply to Thursday AI on WhatsApp and on the web.
2. What Thursday AI is, and is not
Thursday AI answers questions about Pakistan from Thursday Times reporting and official records, and shows the proof behind each answer. It explains notices, documents and decisions in plain words.
It is not legal, medical or financial advice, and it does not replace a lawyer, a doctor, an accountant or the office that issued a document. Where an answer concerns a deadline, a fee or a right, check the official source the answer links to.
3. Your account
On WhatsApp, your number is your account. On the web, you may use Thursday AI without one; a Pakistan Desk seat comes with a sign-in. You are responsible for what is sent from your account. You must be 13 or over to use Thursday AI and 18 or over to buy a plan.
4. Plans, payment and cancellation
Reader is free. Exam Desk and Pakistan Desk are paid monthly or yearly in advance, in rupees, by JazzCash, Easypaisa, bank transfer or card. Prices include tax and are shown before you pay.
You can cancel at any time; the plan continues to the end of the period you paid for and is not renewed. Pakistan Desk seats are sold in blocks of 3 or more and can be reassigned between people.
5. Fair use
Reader includes 20 questions a day. Seedhi baat and Verify are not counted. Automated use, scraping and resale of answers are not permitted; the API is the way to build on Thursday AI, under its own terms below.
6. Content and copyright
Thursday Times reporting is ours and is licensed to you for personal use. Official records belong to the authorities that issued them. What you send us remains yours; you give us the right to use it to answer you and as described in the privacy policy.
You may share answers freely, with their proof row and link intact.
7. Accuracy and corrections
We work to make every answer right, and every answer shows how sure we are and why. We correct mistakes in public. To the extent the law allows, The Thursday Times is not liable for loss arising from reliance on an answer.
8. Developers and the API
Access to the Pakistan layer API and its feeds is by key, issued by the desk. Answers shown through the API keep their proof row and link, name The Thursday Times as the source, and may not be resold or used to train a model. Keys may be revoked for breach.
9. Termination, law and changes
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why. These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan; disputes go to the courts of Lahore. When these terms change, the date at the top changes and we tell you before the change takes effect.
