فیلڈ مارشل عاصم منیر سے ایرانی صدر مسعود پزشکیان کی ملاقات، علاقائی پیش رفت و امن اقدامات پر تبادلہ خیال ایرانی صدر نے امریکا ایران مذاکرات کیلئے پاکستان کے کردار کو سراہا۔ فیلڈ مارشل نے خطہ میں امن و استحکام کیلئے پاکستان کے غیرمتزلزل عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کی دعوت پر ایرانی صدر مسعود پزشکیان کل پاکستان کا دورہ کریں گے جہاں دونوں کے درمیان اہم بات چیت متوقع ہے۔ مسعود پزشکیان صدر آصف زرداری، نائب وزیراعظم و وزیرِ خارجہ اسحاق ڈار، چیئرمین سینیٹ اور سپیکر قومی اسمبلی سے بھی ملاقات کریں گے۔

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian will visit Pakistan on June 23 for a one-day official trip following Pakistan and Qatar’s mediation in the latest Iran-US talks in Switzerland.

Pakistan’s role at the Lake Lucerne Summit marked a rare diplomatic success, placing Islamabad alongside Qatar as a mediator in the US-Iran process. Shehbaz Sharif gave the effort political direction, while Field Marshal Asim Munir added security credibility.

Iranian media say Tehran is closing or keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed over alleged breaches of the Islamabad MoU, while US officials say they have not seen evidence of a physical closure.
