DUBAI (The Thursday Times) — Dubai’s real estate landscape is set to transform with the development of Palm Jebel Ali, a flagship project under Nakheel, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate. The company has awarded contracts worth over AED 5 billion to Ginco General Contracting, Shapoorji Pallonji Mideast, and United Engineering Construction (UNEC) for the construction of 723 ultra-luxury villas, marking a significant milestone in the project’s evolution.

Exclusive luxury residences

Palm Jebel Ali will redefine waterfront living in Dubai with its exclusive Beach Collection and Coral Collection villas. These luxurious residences, located on the first six fronds (Fronds K, L, M, N, O, and P), will provide a choice of five- and six-bedroom Beach Collection villas and seven-bedroom Coral Collection villas. Each villa is meticulously designed, offering eight distinct architectural styles for both collections.

With expansive built-up areas ranging from 8,000 to 15,000 square feet, the villas will feature private beach access, state-of-the-art amenities, and lush landscaping, providing an unparalleled living experience. The design focuses on creating serene and opulent homes that blend seamlessly with Dubai’s coastal environment, aligning with the emirate’s 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Strategic partnerships driving development

Nakheel’s collaboration with leading contractors Ginco, Shapoorji Pallonji, and UNEC underscores the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality living spaces. Ginco will oversee the construction of 197 villas on Fronds O and P, while Shapoorji Pallonji will build 275 villas on Fronds M and N. UNEC will contribute to the development by constructing 251 villas across Fronds K and L.

These strategic partnerships reflect Nakheel’s dedication to fostering strong collaborations that ensure the timely delivery of exceptional projects. Each contractor brings years of experience in delivering premium residential developments, ensuring Palm Jebel Ali’s villas will meet the highest standards of luxury and comfort.

Enhancing the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan

Palm Jebel Ali is a key element of Dubai’s vision to expand and enhance the city’s urban landscape. The development supports the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to increase public beach access, create sustainable communities, and provide modern mobility solutions. Spanning 13.4 kilometres and comprising 16 fronds, Palm Jebel Ali will offer over 90 kilometres of pristine beachfront, making it one of the largest man-made islands in the world.

The project’s holistic design integrates sustainable practices, smart city technologies, and pedestrian-friendly neighbourhoods. Future residents and visitors will enjoy a wealth of amenities, including public spaces, recreational facilities, and panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. The development’s infrastructure will also support a range of mobility options, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the island.

Driving economic growth in Dubai

Palm Jebel Ali is set to significantly contribute to Dubai’s economic growth by attracting investment, boosting tourism, and creating new residential opportunities. The development aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to diversify the economy and create new growth corridors. By offering world-class waterfront living, Palm Jebel Ali will not only enhance Dubai’s global appeal but also create a legacy for future generations.

The awarding of the construction contracts is a pivotal step in advancing Palm Jebel Ali’s vision of becoming a premier destination for luxury living and leisure. The project’s extensive master plan combines urban innovation with sustainable practices, making it a key driver of Dubai’s future growth.
