According to Brand Finance, Dubai’s strategic allure for business and innovation—coupled with policies promoting economic stability and favourable corporate taxation—has significantly boosted its global consideration metrics. Other Middle Eastern cities like Riyadh and Jeddah have also advanced, climbing multiple positions in the index. Jeddah also demonstrated gains, with both cities earning notable spots within the global list. This trend signifies a robust upward trajectory in Middle Eastern cities, emphasizing their increasing presence on the global stage.
While Abu Dhabi maintained its position from last year at thirtieth globally, it showed gains in areas of science, technology, and economic influence. This steady performance underscores the capital’s growing investment in innovative sectors, a move that aligns with the UAE’s broader vision for diversification and economic strength. The city’s stable standing in the index reflects a balanced approach, advancing its technological and scientific presence within the region and beyond.
In North Africa, cities like Cairo, Doha, Casablanca, and Tel Aviv contribute to the region’s presence in the global rankings, with varying degrees of progress and challenges.
