Peugeot 2008 facelift debuts in Pakistan with new design and upgraded tech

Kia Lucky Motors has launched the facelifted Peugeot 2008 in Pakistan with bold exterior upgrades, enhanced interior features, and updated pricing, arriving alongside two electric SUVs as part of a busy August for the auto sector.

KARACHI (The Thursday Times) — Pakistan’s automotive market kicked off August with a trio of major launches, led by the refreshed Peugeot 2008 compact SUV. Released by Kia Lucky Motors, the updated model introduces a sharper exterior design, enhanced digital features, and a reimagined cabin, aimed at elevating its appeal in the premium crossover segment.

The facelift arrives amid the local debuts of two electric SUVs, the Jaecoo J6 and the Omoda E5, marking a significant moment for the country’s evolving vehicle landscape. Peugeot’s offering, however, remains firmly in the internal combustion segment, targeting urban professionals and small families seeking a European badge and sleek styling.

On the outside, the updated 2008 showcases a redesigned front grille bearing Peugeot’s new logo, now seamlessly integrated into the bodywork. The LED headlamps have been upgraded with three lighting modules that enhance both visibility and aesthetics, while new 3-claw daytime running lights bring a distinctive signature to the bumper.

At the rear, the vehicle now features dual exhaust tips with chrome detailing, a matte grey “PEUGEOT” tailgate badge, and redesigned LED lights that retain the brand’s visual identity. Completing the exterior package are 17-inch diamond-cut Karakoy rims fitted with Bridgestone tyres, Grey Satin door trims, and a shark fin antenna.

Inside, the biggest visual change is the introduction of an all-black roof liner, lending the cabin a sportier and more premium atmosphere. The centrepiece is an upgraded 10-inch high-definition touchscreen infotainment system, now offering sharper graphics and enhanced interactivity.

Two variants are available: the base Active and the higher-end Allure. The Active is priced at Rs 6,999,000, while the Allure retails for Rs 7,799,000. For customers opting for instalments, the EMI-inclusive prices rise slightly to Rs 7,249,000 and Rs 8,049,000, respectively.

Bookings for the facelifted Peugeot 2008 are now open through Kia Lucky Motors dealerships, with deliveries scheduled to begin in August and continue into September 2025.
