آئینی ترمیم کیلئے مسلم لیگ (ن) اور پیپلز پارٹی کے ساتھ عدالتی اصلاحات کے نکات پر اتفاقِ رائے ہو گیا ہے، دیگر نکات پر مزید مشاورت کی جائے گی، آئینی ترمیم میں پارلیمنٹ کو بالاتر رکھا جائے، ایسی ترامیم لائی جائیں جو اداروں میں اصلاحات کا سبب بنیں۔ مولانا فضل الرحمٰن

میثاقِ جمہوریت کے تحت آئینی عدالت قائم ہونی چاہیے جس کا مینڈیٹ آئینی معاملات کی تشریح ہو گا، ججز کی تعیناتی کا نظام بھی درست کرنا ہے، ججز کا کام ڈیم بنانا یا قیمتیں طے کرنا نہیں بلکہ آئینی ذمہ داریاں پوری کرنا ہے، ججز تقرری عمل میں شفافیت بےنظیر بھٹو کا مطالبہ تھا۔
