Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has accused Afghanistan’s Taliban-led government of supporting terrorism under Indian patronage and spreading false narratives to conceal its internal divisions and governance failures. Speaking through an official statement on X, Asif said there is complete consensus among Pakistan’s political and military leadership on security and foreign policy toward Afghanistan, emphasising that Islamabad’s approach remains rooted in peace, stability, and the national interest.

After failed negotiations with the Afghan Taliban in Doha and Istanbul, Pakistan warned it would take all necessary steps to protect its citizens and eliminate militant groups it blames for cross-border attacks, signalling a potential escalation in regional tensions.

پاکستان نے افغان طالبان سے مذاکرات کی ناکامی کے بعد دہشت گردی کے خاتمے کے لیے فیصلہ کن اقدامات اٹھانے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔ پاکستان کا کہنا ہے کہ وہ اپنے عوام کے تحفظ پر کوئی سمجھوتہ نہیں کرے گا اور دہشت گردوں، ان کے ٹھکانوں اور معاونین کے خلاف ہر ممکن کارروائی کی جائے گی۔

پاکستان نے طاقت کے مظاہرے کے بعد سفارتکاری سے اپنا مؤقف منوایا اور خطے کا نیا نارمل اپنی شرائط پر قائم کر دیا۔ دوحہ میں اسلام آباد کا واحد مطالبہ تھا کہ افغان سرزمین سے پاکستان مخالف دہشت گردوں کی حمایت بند کی جائے، اور اگر وہاں سے حملے ہوئے تو ذمہ دار کیمپ جائز ہدف سمجھے جائیں گے۔
