The youth of Pakistan has always played a pivotal role in the country’s politics. From the independence struggle to the present day, Political movements and campaigns have traditionally been led by young people. Young people’s involvement in politics has significantly increased during the past few years. This is partly because more and more young people are now finishing their education and looking for ways to make a difference in society.

The concepts of growth and transformation have always appealed to Pakistan’s youth. The fact that the majority of political parties have a robust youth wing is proof of this. The youth is seen as the drivers of change, and they are often given important responsibilities within political parties. Many young politicians have come to prominence in recent years. The presence of young politicians have brought a new energy and dynamism to the political scene. Young politicians are often seen as more relatable and in touch with the concerns of the people, and their fresh perspectives have helped to inject new ideas and approaches into the political debate.

Youth involvement in politics is significant for the future of Pakistan. The youth bring fresh ideas and energy, which is essential for any progressive movement. They also have the potential to connect with other sections of society, including those who are disaffected by traditional politics. To truly represent the interests of all Pakistanis, youth must be given a meaningful role in decision-making processes at all levels. They are not bound by old ideologies and ways of thinking and can devise innovative solutions to tackle the country’s problems. The youth can increase political participation and voter turnout in the country. They can encourage more young people to get involved in the political process and exercise their right to vote. The youth can hold politicians accountable for their actions and promises. They can demand transparency and honesty from their elected representatives and work towards creating a more accountable and responsible political system.

Young people also use social media and other digital platforms to engage with politics in new and innovative ways. This has led to increase political awareness and engagement among young people, who use these platforms to organise and mobilise around issues that matter to them.

By participating in politics, the youth can ensure their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. The youth of Pakistan can potentially drive positive change in the country. They can work towards creating a better future for themselves and future generations. Corruption is a significant problem in Pakistan, and the youth can play a vital role in combating it.

To ensure that the youth’s efforts in politics are practical, it is essential to provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge. This includes education on governance, public policy, leadership, and advocacy. It is also essential to create opportunities for youth to engage with political leaders and decision-makers, as well as to provide them with platforms to express their views and ideas.

The involvement of the youth in politics can bring about positive changes in Pakistan, and it is essential to encourage and support their participation. By empowering the youth with the necessary skills and knowledge, we can ensure that they become effective agents of change in building a better future for Pakistan.
