قومی اسمبلی میں الیکشن ایکٹ ترمیمی بِل 2024 کثرتِ رائے سے منظور؛ پارٹی سرٹیفکیٹ جمع نہ کرانے والا امیدوار آزاد تصور ہو گا، مقررہ مدت میں مخصوص نشستوں کی فہرست جمع نہ کرانے والی سیاسی جماعت مخصوص نشستوں کی حق دار نہ ہو گی، مقررہ مدت میں ایک بار کسی سیاسی جماعت سے وابستگی کا اظہار ناقابل تنسیخ ہو گا۔

سپریم کورٹ نے آئین کو از سر نو تحریر کیا اور فیصلے کی ہوم ڈلیوری کی۔ یہ ہوم ڈلیوری اس فریق کو کی گئی ہے جو کیس میں فریق ہی نہیں تھا۔ آئین کو دوبارہ لکھنے، بدلنے اور ترمیم کرنے کا حق صرف پارلیمنٹ کے پاس ہے۔
