WASHINGTON (The Thursday Times) — US President Donald J. Trump said on social media (Truth Social) that the United States had carried out a large-scale strike in Venezuela and that President Nicolás Maduro, along with his wife, had been captured and flown out of the country.
Donald Trump said the operation was conducted in conjunction with US law enforcement and that further details would be released. He added that a news conference would take place at 11 a.m. at Mar-a-Lago.
