Pakistan’s military has sentenced former Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed to fourteen years after a far reaching court martial that examined accusations of political meddling, secrecy violations and misuse of authority, with further investigations now under way into his alleged attempts to engineer political agitation.

چیئرمین تحریکِ انصاف کی جانب سے درخواست میں یہ مؤقف اختیار کیا گیا ہے کہ آرمی ایکٹ اور آفیشل سیکریٹ ایکٹ میں ترامیم بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی ہیں اور یہ قوانین آئین کے آرٹیکل 8 سے متصادم ہیں۔
Lahore has been designated the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation's Tourism and Cultural Capital for 2026-2027, under a resolution signed at the same Bishkek summit where Pakistan assumed the SCO chairmanship, with four flagship cultural events planned in the city.
