The forum paid homage to the valor of the Shuhadas, including officers, personnel of the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement Agencies, and citizens who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s peace.
The conference resolved to counter terrorism aggressively, targeting those acting under hostile forces aiming to destabilise Pakistan. The COAS instructed commanders to persist in solidifying the achievements in the fight against terrorism and militancy, marking a continuous struggle against threats to national security.
Amid discussions, the forum addressed the ongoing repression of Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), condemning the persistent human rights violations by India. The conference reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people, pledging to back their cause politically, diplomatically, and morally.

He asserted Pakistan’s diplomatic, moral, and political backing for the Palestinians, underlining a commitment to the enduring resolution of the Palestinian issue.
The conference appreciated the Civil Administration, Law Enforcement Agencies, and security forces for their role in ensuring a secure environment for the General Elections, adhering to the Election Commission of Pakistan’s guidelines despite challenges. The Armed Forces’ neutrality and security provision during the elections were emphasised, denouncing the baseless allegations of electoral interference by certain segments of the polity and media as deplorable.
The CCC expressed satisfaction over the democratic transition of power, advocating for political and economic stability to foster national prosperity. The forum underscored the importance of democratic consolidation as the country’s path forward, amidst a backdrop of challenges and threats.
Reiterating its commitment to supporting the government in combating security threats and promoting socioeconomic growth, the forum pledged assistance in curbing illegal activities, including smuggling and electricity theft. The resolve to bring justice to those disrespecting national monuments and attacking military installations, as per the law and Constitution, was reaffirmed.
Aligned with the directives of Pakistan’s Prime Minister, the 263rd Corps Commanders’ Conference firmly resolved to bring to justice those responsible for planning, instigating, abetting, and carrying out acts of desecration against Shuhada Monuments and the attacks on military installations on May 9. The forum underscored that any attempts to spread distortions, confusion, or disinformation would be fruitless, attributing such efforts to a coordinated campaign driven by narrow political motives aimed at obscuring the reprehensible acts committed.
Concerns were raised over the spread of organised misinformation and fake news, with a call for national unity and participation in the country’s development. The Army’s dedication to defending and serving Pakistan towards a stable, prosperous, and secure future was emphasised.
General Munir stressed the importance of maintaining professionalism, operational preparedness, and motivation among field commanders, striving for excellence in training and operations.
