اسلام آباد (تھرسڈے ٹائمز) — قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ نے قومی اسمبلی کے اجلاس کیلئے 29 فروری صبح 10 بجے کا وقت مقرر کر دیا۔

قومی اسمبلی سیکرٹریٹ کے مطابق آئین کے آرٹیکل 91 کے تحت انتخابات کے 21ویں روز قومی اسمبلی کا اجلاس ہونا لازم ہے، صدر 21ویں روز سے قبل اجلاس بلا سکتے ہیں مگر صدر عارف علوی نے تاحال اجلاس نہیں بلایا۔

نیشنل اسمبلی کے سیکرٹریٹ کا کہنا ہے کہ عام انتخابات کے 21ویں روز قومی اسمبلی کا اجلاس ہونا لازم ہے اور اس کیلئے صدر یا سپیکر کے نوٹیفکیشن کی ضرورت بھی نہیں ہے۔
