Three terrorists killed as Karachi Rangers camp attack foiled, ISPR

ISPR says three soldiers were martyred and four injured after terrorists attacked a Pakistan Rangers camp in Karachi.

RAWALPINDI (The Thursday Times) — Three terrorists were killed and one injured attacker was captured after a terrorist attack on a Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) camp in Karachi on 27 June 2026, ISPR said.

According to ISPR, the terrorists detonated explosives at the main gate of the camp before attempting to breach its perimeter security. Rangers troops responded decisively, foiling the attack and killing three terrorists.

ISPR said the fourth terrorist, an Afghan national, was captured in injured condition.

During the exchange of fire, three soldiers were martyred in the line of duty, while four others were injured.

ISPR said sanitisation operations are being conducted in the area to eliminate any remaining terrorists. It added that Pakistan’s counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam will continue at full pace to wipe out foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

ISPR further said Pakistan would undertake retribution operations against the perpetrators of the attack to avenge the martyrdom of its soldiers.

COAS and CDF Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir expressed deep condolences to the families of the martyred soldiers, saying their sacrifices further reinforce Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation at all costs.
