امیر قطر نے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان اسٹریٹجک تعلقات کی حمایت اور ترقی کی اہمیت پر زور دیا، ساتھ ہی دونوں ممالک میں تجارت کو بڑھانےاور قطر انوسٹمنٹ اتھارٹی کے ذریعے سرمایہ کاری کو فروغ دے کر اقتصادی شراکت داری کو بڑھانے کی بات بھی کی۔ اسی سلسلے میں قطر انویسٹمنٹ اتھارٹی نے اسلامی جمہوریہ پاکستان میں مختلف تجارتی اور سرمایہ کاری کے شعبوں میں 3 بلین ڈالر کی سرمایہ کاری کرنے کا عندیہ دے دیا۔
