LAHORE (The Thursday Times) — Chery ne Pakistan mein apni mukammal taur par electric hatchback taaruffi ex-factory qeemat 55 lakh 54 hazar rupee par pesh kar di hai, aur Jumerat ko Lahore mein Pakistan Auto Show mein gaari ki roonumai ki. Qeemat ko mehdood stock par taaruffi offer qarar diya gaya hai.

Gaari ki pre-booking pehle 15 lakh rupee par shuru hui thi, aur company ka kehna tha ke final qeemat auto show mein elan ki jayegi. Lahore Expo Centre mein teen roza numaish Jumerat ko shuru hui aur Hafta tak jari rahegi, jahan manufacturers aur distributors naye models pesh kar rahe hain.
Yeh nameplate Pakistan aur doosri jagahon par taweel tareekh rakhta hai. Asal QQ 2002 mein 800cc petrol microcar ke taur par aayi thi aur 2021 se 2023 ke darmiyan Lahore mein United Motors ne ise assemble kiya. Maujooda generation bilkul mukhtalif cheez hai. Yeh Chengdu Auto Show mein August 2025 mein pesh ki gayi, March 2026 mein China mein launch hui, aur woh pehle hi Thailand mein farokht ke liye maujood hai, jabke Pakistan ke saath saath Middle East aur Australia mein bhi dakhle ki khabrein hain.
Mechanically, the car is built around a 42.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery paired with a rear-mounted motor producing 90 kW, about 121 horsepower, and 111 Nm of torque, driving the rear wheels. Chery claims a range of up to 400 kilometres under the NEDC testing cycle and around 300 kilometres under the more conservative WLTP cycle. That gap is worth noting. NEDC is a laboratory figure and generally runs more optimistic than real-world driving delivers, with actual range varying by traffic, driving style, weather and air-conditioning use. Top speed is listed at 135 km/h.
The hatchback measures 4,195 mm in length, 1,811 mm in width and 1,568 mm in height on a 2,700 mm wheelbase, with 152 mm of rear knee room. Reported equipment includes six airbags, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch infotainment display, 50W wireless charging, wired and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an electric tailgate, a front trunk, Level 2 driver assistance, a 540-degree camera and automatic parking assist. It also supports 6.6 kW vehicle-to-load output, allowing the car to power external appliances, a feature with obvious utility in a country that still sees outages. These figures come from the manufacturer’s own specifications and have not been independently verified under Pakistani road and climate conditions.
At Rs5.554 million the car enters a segment that remains small but is no longer empty, and it will compete most directly with other compact Chinese electric hatchbacks including the Dongfeng Box. It joins a Chery lineup in Pakistan that currently consists of the Tiggo 7, 8 and 9, all plug-in hybrids, with a more affordable Tiggo 4 reportedly planned for next year.
