اسلام آباد—ایوانِ صدر کے پریس ونگ کی جانب سے جاری کیے گئے بیان کے مطابق صدرِ مملکت ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے آئین کے آرٹیکل 175 اے کے تحت جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ کی بطور چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان تعیناتی کی منظوری دے دی۔

جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ کی بطور چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان تعیناتی کا اطلاق 17 ستمبر 2023 سے ہو گا، موجودہ چیف جسٹس عمر عطا بندیال آئین کے آرٹیکل 179 کے تحت 16 ستمبر 2023 کو ریٹائر ہو جائیں گے۔

جسٹس قاضی فائز عیسیٰ 17 ستمبر 2023 کو چیف جسٹس آف پاکستان کے عہدے کا حلف اٹھائیں گے۔
